The challenge
BIKKS trades used vehicles and heavy machinery out of Japan to buyers abroad. Stock changes weekly, buyers speak different languages, and every sale starts as a conversation. They needed a catalogue the team could keep current themselves, in Japanese and English, that turned browsing into qualified enquiries.
How we approached it
- 01Built a bilingual Japanese and English site with a language switcher on every page.
- 02Designed a filterable catalogue with the specifications buyers check first — year, hours or mileage, fuel type.
- 03Routed enquiries through the channels the market actually uses, including LINE and direct contact.
- 04Gave the team a simple way to list and sell stock, with sold items clearly marked.
What we delivered
- Bilingual website (Japanese / English)
- Vehicle and machinery catalogue
- Featured stock carousel
- Quote and enquiry routing, including LINE
- Listing management for the team
- Website Development
- Ecommerce
- Bilingual
The outcome
- The client referred another business in the same trade to us
- Stock is kept current by the team without developer help
The website genuinely works for our business. I was happy enough with the result that I referred a friend in the same trade to Aiwa Logic.
